Westervelde es un pueblo en el municipio de Noordenveld, en la provincia neerlandesa de Drenthe. Se encuentra aproximadamente a 1,5 km al suroeste de Norg. En 2021, había 155 personas viviendo en Westervelde. Westervelde ya se mencionó en 1486. Alrededor de 1800, Westervelde era el pueblo más grande de la parroquia de Norg. En Westervelde estaba el ayuntamiento del municipio de Norg, que también era la residencia de la familia Tonckens. Varios miembros de esta familia fueron alcaldes de Norg. El ayuntamiento, situado en Hoofdweg, sigue siendo propiedad de la familia Tonckens. Hasta 1998, Westervelde formaba parte del municipio de Norg. Ese año, Westervelde se incorporó al municipio redistribuido de Noordenveld.
