Levefanum fue un asentamiento romano en la provincia de Germania Inferior. Levefanum era un fortaleza fronteriza a lo largo de la frontera norte del Imperio Romano; el llamado limes. El Castellum Levefanum se encontraba entre la actual Rijswijk y Wijk bij Duurstede, en la orilla izquierda del Rin Inferior, donde se divide actualmente en el Rin Torcido y el Lek. En la época romana, el cauce principal del Rin fluía a través del actual Rin Inferior, Rin Torcido y Rin Viejo hacia el Mar del Norte.
