El canal Merwedekanaal es un canal en las provincias neerlandesas de Utrecht y Zuid-Holland. Conecta el canal Ámsterdam-Rijn en la ciudad de Utrecht con el Boven-Merwede al sur de Gorinchem.
De norte a sur, el canal atraviesa o pasa por los lugares Utrecht, Nieuwegein, Vianen, Lexmond, Hei- y Boeicop, Meerkerk, Nieuwland, Hoogblokland, Arkel y Gorinchem. Entre Nieuwegein y Utrecht, el Merwedekanaal es cruzado por el canal Ámsterdam-Rijn y entre Nieuwegein y Vianen por el río Lek.
