El
molino de San Huberto fue construido en 1802 por encargo del granjero Willem Kerckhoffs
de Klein Genhout. Entre 1814 y 1826, el molino fue cerrado y desde entonces
es un llamado molino de pie cerrado.
En 1928, la familia Kerckhoffs
vendió el molino al molinero Louis Voncken. El molino sigue en uso hasta la década de los cuarenta del siglo pasado y luego entra en decadencia. Como se muele cada vez menos, el molino se deteriora visiblemente. En 1970, el municipio de Beek compra el molino por la simbólica
cantidad de 1 florín. El municipio restaura y renueva el molino a fondo.
Desde entonces, el molino de Hubertus es un monumento nacional y una
atracción especial.
