El molino de granos De Hoop en Maassluis es un molino de postes que fue construido en 1690, como señala un documento. Dada la forma y el material del molino de piedra, este año también se confirma. Un predecesor de madera fue erigido en este lugar en 1620.
Es un molino de piedra redonda, cuya techumbre está cubierta con cuero para techos. Las aspas tienen una longitud de 26,30 metros y tienen la forma típica holandesa antigua. El valor paisajístico de este molino es muy grande.
