La Bollenstreek es la región donde se lleva a cabo gran parte del cultivo de bulbos en los Países Bajos, caracterizada por los muchos campos de bulbos. La Bollenstreek es especialmente conocida por los tulipanes, y en menor medida por los crocus, narcisos e higrantes. La Bollenstreek se desarrolló a finales del siglo XVI y durante el siglo XVII. La manía de los tulipanes desempeñó un papel importante en el desarrollo de lo que ahora se conoce como Bollenstreek.
En el norte, Kennemerland, una subregión de la Bollenstreek, ha sido interrumpida por el canal de la costa del Mar del Norte desde 1865.
