Zuiderheide es un área de brezo entre Laren y Hilversum. El área se extiende desde el Sint Janskerkhof hacia el valle del Eem. El área es importante desde el punto de vista arqueológico y geológico. El área está bajo la gestión de la Reserva Natural Goois.
Los Zeven Bergjes es el nombre de los túmulos funerarios de hace aproximadamente cuatro mil años. Los túmulos se extienden por la Zuiderheide y la adyacente Westerheide.
En la parte sur de la Zuiderheide se encuentran varias charcas de brezo que solían usarse para bañar a los rebaños de ovejas que existían en ese momento, de ahí el nombre Laarder Wasmeer. Allí, el brezo también limita con Anna's Hoeve, un proyecto de creación de empleo de la década de 1930, en el área del municipio de Hilversum.
