Achterbos es una aldea en el municipio de De Ronde Venen, en la provincia de Utrecht, Países Bajos. Achterbos se encuentra justo al norte de Vinkeveen y a menudo se considera parte de ella, en la costa suroeste de los lagos Vinkeveense, al este del pequeño pueblo de Waverveen, en la carretera del mismo nombre, la Achterbos, De Helling y Herenweg. En la aldea hay principalmente tierras de cultivo.
