Wieringen) es una antigua isla en la punta de la provincia de Holanda del Norte. La superficie de la isla era de 24,5 km², de los cuales 19,8 km² eran tierra antigua y 4,7 km² eran nuevas tierras obtenidas mediante desecación. Como isla, Wieringen obtuvo derechos de ciudad en la Edad Media. Al noroeste de Wieringen se encuentra la plataforma de lodo Balgzand.
