La esclusa tiene dos compartimentos, uno detrás del otro, de 120 metros de longitud cada uno, un ancho de 11,85 m, ancho de la cámara de esclusa de 24 m, profundidad del umbral norte y medio KP -3,29 m, umbral sur NAP -2,25 m clase CEMT Va
A ambos lados de la esclusa hay dos puentes que llevan el nombre de las reinas de los Países Bajos, de ahí el nombre de la esclusa de la Reina:
