Esta ruta de senderismo va desde la estación de tren a través del valle del Anstelerbeek hasta la zona verde alrededor del Castillo Erenstein. Después de un recorrido alrededor del Cranenweyer, el único embalse de los Países Bajos, paseará junto a la restaurada Hoeve Nieuw-Ehrenstein. El arte, el prado de ciervos y el parque infantil se alternan en el parque de la ciudad. Luego, se continúa hacia el acogedor centro de Kerkrade con su hermoso ayuntamiento y muchas terrazas. Puede finalizar su día con una visita al Discovery Museum.
