La ruta de senderismo Meinvennen se encuentra al este de Roermond en el parque fronterizo alemán-holandés Maas-Swalm-Nette. Esta ruta variada transcurre por senderos boscosos, a través de paisajes de brezos con charcas, por bosques de pantano con alisos y abedules, y a lo largo de charcas de gamón. Son características los bordes de terraza que se han formado durante miles de años debido a la erosión del valle primitivo del Mosa. En las terrazas fluyen los dos arroyos Rode Beek y Boschbeek, que desembocan en el Roer.
