"Solo el lugar de inicio de esta caminata vale la pena: el Fuerte Sint-Pieter en Maastricht, una fortaleza construida en 1701 y que tuvo una función militar hasta 1867. Hoy es una atracción turística. Pasearás, entre otras cosas, junto a la cantera de ENCI. Justo más allá de la frontera belga-neerlandesa se encuentra D’n Observant, una colina artificial de 170 metros de altura en la meseta de Sint-Pietersberg. A pocos kilómetros más, entrarás en la parte valona del país. Es recomendable usar zapatos resistentes para esta exigente caminata a través de tres provincias."
