Si piensas en el barrio de Thull y en el pueblo de Schinnen, rápidamente pensarás en la cervecería Alfa. Sin embargo, esta ruta de senderismo muestra que la zona tiene más que ofrecer.
Caminas, a través de puntos de senderismo, por el paisaje de meseta de millones de años y a lo largo del natural Mulderplas, donde también puedes comenzar la ruta. En el camino disfrutas de vistas sobre el valle de Geleenbeek y recorres un breve tramo por el Mijnspoorpad, un recuerdo tangible del pasado minero de esta región. Además, pasas por varias capillas, incluida la capilla de María en la Krekelberg.
Junto a la ruta hay diversos lugares de descanso y establecimientos de hostelería.
