Aremark es un municipio de la provincia de Østfold, Noruega. Tiene una población de 1406 habitantes según el censo de 2015.[1] Aremark se estableció como municipio el 1 de enero de 1838. El nuevo municipio de Øymark se separó de Aremark el 1 de julio de 1903. Su centro administrativo es la localidad de Fosby
El nombre de este municipio en nórdico antiguo fue Aramörk. El primer elemento es el caso genitivo del nombre del lago Ari . El nombre Ari significa «águila» y mark significa «bosque».
