Le territoire communal se situe à une altitude de 400 m et appartient géographiquement à la région de Traunviertel. Le drainage est effectué par le ruisseau Fischlhamer et le ruisseau Katzenbach, qui se jettent ensemble dans la Traun. L'étendue mesure 7,2 kilomètres du nord au sud et 6,3 kilomètres d'ouest en est. La superficie couvre 27,57 kilomètres carrés. Plus de quatre-vingts pour cent de cette superficie est des terres agricoles, neuf pour cent sont boisées.
