Solre-sur-Sambre [sɔːʁsyʁsɑ̃bʁ] est une section de la commune belge d’Erquelinnes située en Région wallonne dans la province de Hainaut. C'était une commune à part entière avant la fusion des communes de 1977. Ses habitants s'appellent les Solréziens.
Le nom de Solre-sur-Sambre trouve son origine dans le mot celtique sol-ara signifiant « eau boueuse ».
