A l’occasion de la 30ème édition du festival folklorique en 2004, l’association a fait don de la statue du joueur de cornemuse aux habitants de Dranouter. C’est une réalisation de Johan Lemenu (concept et exécution artistique) et Alex Verrecas (élaboration technique). La statue de 5 mètres de haut représente un musicien folklorique avec une cornemuse, l’instrument par excellence de la musique folklorique. Le Piper est en polyester avec une patine de bronze. Une colonne de fer avec l’inscription du logo du festival porte le torse instable. Le ressort permet au joueur de cornemuse de se déplacer. Cela symbolise le festival et la musique qui ne s’arrête pas. L’image est mobile.
