La Molenbeek entre ici dans le Parc de Boom et s'y rejoint avec la Bosbeek. À la fin du parc, elle passe sous l'A12. À la hauteur de la gare de Boom, elle se jette dans la Rupel. Étant donné que les deux rivières ont causé des inondations dans le passé, la province d'Anvers a prévu plusieurs interventions, comme la zone d'inondation des Molenbeekse Plassen à Rumst.
