Deux sculpteurs ont créé une œuvre d'art saisissante à partir d'un tilleul vieux de 800 ans qui ornait la place du village de Zoersel jusqu'en 1974. Pol Van Esbroeck a sculpté dans le tronc quelque 85 personnages issus de la vie villageoise locale. Mariëtte Coppens raconte l'histoire de « De Loteling » sur les branches.
