Déjà avant 1300, il y avait un moulin à eau à cet endroit. Vers 1680, la Demer a été déviée et a entraîné ce moulin à contrepoids, à la fois un moulin à foulon et un moulin à grain. En 1761, les bâtiments ont été rénovés et plusieurs autres travaux ont eu lieu par la suite. En 1840, le moulin était en partie en bois, en partie en pierre, et son débit était tel que le moulin fonctionnait de manière très rentable. Finalement, le moulin a été utilisé uniquement comme moulin à grain.
