Anvers est fière de son street art et ce n’est pas purement par souci d’attirer les touristes car la ville possède effectivement de spectaculaires fresques murales.
Les graffitistes ont trouvé avec l’axe Krugerstraat-Minckelerstraat un véritable port d’attache, car c’est là qu’est organisé depuis quelques années le festival international de street art Meeting of Styles. Après quelques éditions à la Muntplein et au centre de la jeunesse Kavka, le collectif Aerosol Kings a élu domicile à la Zomerfabriek. Avec ses quelque 2.250 m² de fresques, le site est en fait un grand musée en plein air et il distrait agréablement les cyclistes !
