Cette station Klein-Sinaai est une ancienne gare le long de la ligne 77 (Zelzate-Sint-Gillis-Waas) dans la commune de Stekene. L'ouverture de la ligne a eu lieu le 20 octobre 1873 et elle a été fermée le 1er septembre 1952. Le bâtiment de la gare est toujours là, seules les voies ont été enlevées et il y a maintenant une piste cyclable. Le bâtiment de la gare est actuellement utilisé par une association de scouts locale,
En 1974, le tronçon Kemzeke-Moerbeke a été désaffecté et peu après aménagé en chemin de randonnée et en chemin piéton, un exemple précoce de l'utilisation récréative du vélo, car cela était relativement rare vers 1980.
