Ce monument aux morts est situé près de la Sint-Martinuskerk à Crupet.
Ce mémorial commémore les habitants de Crupet tués ou portés disparus pendant la Première Guerre mondiale.
Pour un petit village, ce monument est assez imposant. Elle témoigne de la ferveur de la population en faveur des anciens combattants.
Crupet a été largement épargné par l'horreur des Allemands. Il n'y a qu'une seule victime civile, Alphons Pierret (1877-1914) tué par un sniper alors qu'il revenait du château à vélo.
