L'église Saint-Roch est une église paroissiale située à Deurne, un quartier d'Anvers, au 75 de la rue Saint-Roch. Au cours du 19e siècle, Deurne a connu une croissance rapide de sa population. En 1859 et entre 1866 et 1867, une épidémie de choléra a eu lieu. Saint-Roch, le patron contre les maladies contagieuses, a alors été invoqué et en 1867, une petite chapelle a été construite en son honneur. En 1886, une chapelle plus grande, en fait une église auxiliaire, a été construite pour desservir les quartiers des Trois Rois, Exterlaer et Silsburg. Celle-ci était en bois, en raison de l'importance militaire de la position voisine de la ceinture d'Anvers.
