Un classique désormais, ce pont de West 8, qui a été mis en service en 2011 après un Appel Ouvert du Maître d'Ouvrage Flamand. Ce pont pour cyclistes et piétons mesure 112 mètres de long, passe au-dessus des voies ferrées et est étroit pour accentuer sa légèreté. Avec ses cinq colonnes sculpturales, il attire résolument l'attention. Il sort le parc Elzenhof de son isolement et crée une liaison avec le centre-ville.
