La promenade d'Hoogvorst tire son nom du baron Emmanuel van der Linden d'Hoogvorst, ancien maire de Meise au XIXe siècle. La promenade traverse le centre de Meise et passe devant le Jardin botanique national de Belgique, l'un des plus grands jardins botaniques du monde, avec son célèbre arum géant. Traversez l'Heirbaan et profitez d'une vue magnifique sur Bruxelles. Par temps clair, vous pourrez facilement apercevoir l'Atomium. Passez devant la pittoresque église Saint-Étienne d'Oppem et terminez par la chapelle Saint-Éloi, protectrice des marchands de chevaux.
