Départ à Leireken, un bâtiment de la gare transformé en taverne. À l'avant du bâtiment de la gare se trouve un remarquable wagon de première classe datant de 1935. Longez le Grote Molenbeek jusqu'à la Leirekensroute, une piste cyclable et pédestre sur l'ancienne ligne de chemin de fer 61 entre Londerzeel et Alost. Pendant le trajet, vous pourrez apercevoir l'hirondelle rustique, une voisine chère à la commune. La brasserie Palm est heureuse d'ouvrir ses portes aux visiteurs. Pour rappeler la riche culture du houblon d'antan, la brasserie Palm a aménagé en 2011 une houblonnière le long de la route Leirekens.

Cette promenade est proposée par le Paysage régional Brabantse Kouters en collaboration avec la municipalité.
