Vous quittez bientôt l'agréable centre du village de Melkwezer et voyez la ferme de Walsbergen émerger à travers les champs. Vous entrez immédiatement dans la réserve naturelle de Walsbergen, loin de toute habitation, avec des bois, des prairies de fauche et un étang. Un paysage ouvert vous conduit à Wommersom et vous fait passer devant le beau château de Wommersom, construit à la fin du XIXe siècle. Vous suivrez ensuite le 's Hertogengracht jusqu'à la sinueuse Grote Gete et marcherez pendant des kilomètres dans un paysage où seuls la nature et les champs dominent. Vous ne verrez aucune maison avant d'arriver à Melkwezer. Après votre promenade, dégustez une Walsberger, la bière régionale de Linter.
