Le parc national Jasper (Alberta) est le plus grand parc national des montagnes Rocheuses canadiennes. Il se trouve au nord du parc national de Banff et à l'ouest de la ville d'Edmonton. Il vaut vraiment le détour pour les amoureux de la nature avec ses glaciers, lacs, chutes d'eau, sources chaudes, ... et une multitude de faune telle que l'ours grizzli, l'ours noir, la chèvre des montagnes, le bighorn, le caribou et d'autres espèces de cerfs, ...
Parmi les attractions, on trouve le mont Edith Cavell, le glacier Angel, le champ de glace Columbia, les chutes Athabasca, le canyon Maligne, le lac Maligne, le lac Medicine.
Le parc est nommé d'après Jasper Hawes, qui avait un poste de commerce au 19ème siècle.
Le parc national Jasper est inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1984.
