Charlesbourg-Royal, établi en 1541 près de la ville de Québec dans la province de Québec au Canada, fut le premier établissement européen en Amérique du Nord.
Cette communauté de 400 habitants survécut à son premier hiver malgré le froid sévère et les attaques des Iroquoiens de Stadaconé et d'autres villages. Cependant, l'établissement fut abandonné en juin 1542.
