Porta Westfalica est une commune de Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie , située dans l'arrondissement de Minden-Lübbecke, dans le district de Detmold, dans le Landschaftsverband de Westphalie-Lippe. Son chef-lieu est la ville d'Hausberge.
Porta Westfalica comprend environ 36 000 habitants et a été créée en 1973 par la fusion d'une quinzaine de communes. Elle a pris le nom de la gorge de Porta Westfalica, un passage creusé par la Weser entre le Wesergebirge et le Wiehengebirge dans le Weserbergland.
