Le château de Kipfenberg est un château de promontoire situé sur un rocher escarpé de 430 m d'altitude au-dessus de la commune de Kipfenberg, rue du Château, dans le district d'Eichstätt en Bavière.
Le château a été construit au 12ème siècle et était en possession des chevaliers Kropf en 1277, qui s'appelaient d'après le château Kropf de Kipfenberg et qui étaient auparavant des ministériaux des comtes de Hirschberg, propriétaires du château de Hirschberg. Le 11 septembre 1301, Konrad, surnommé Struma, a vendu le « castrum et oppidum Kipfenberg » avec toutes ses possessions à la principauté épiscopale d'Eichstätt.
