La gare de Hohenlimburg est la seule gare du quartier de Hohenlimburg à Hagen. Elle est située sur la ligne Ruhr-Sieg et a été inaugurée le 21 mars 1859.
La gare se trouve à la limite sud du centre-ville de Hohenlimburg. Juste au nord, sur le quai en direction de Hagen, se trouve une gare routière, d'où partent les bus de la Hagener Straßenbahn AG et de la Märkischen Verkehrsgesellschaft vers le reste de Hagen, ainsi qu'à destination d'Iserlohn, Hemer et Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde. À l'extrémité ouest du quai, il y avait un passage à niveau, qui a cependant été remplacé par un passage souterrain pour piétons à l'ouest et par un pont routier à l'est.
