Le Geierstein ou Geigerstein est une montagne de 1 491 m d’altitude située dans les montagnes occidentales de Mangfall, qui fait partie des Préalpes bavaroises, et se trouve près de Lenggries dans l’Isarwinkel.
Le Geierstein fait partie d’une crête montagneuse qui s’étend dans une direction ouest-est, en pente raide vers le nord et le sud. En venant de Lenggries, le Geierstein est le premier sommet proéminent. À l’est, la crête est interrompue par le Sommersbachgraben ; Le chemin de crête nécessite une descente à 1261 m. Plus à l’est suit le plus haut sommet de la crête, le Fockenstein ; puis l’arête se maintient à une hauteur de plus de 1100 m jusqu’à peu avant Bad Wiessee avec la percée du Tegernsee. De Lenggries à l’ouest, Brauneck et Benediktenwand continuent la crête Fockenstein-Geierstein.
