Le Schliersbergbahn est un téléphérique doté de deux cabines pour dix personnes et qui mène de Schliersee à l’alpage de Schliersbergalm à 1 061 m d’altitude. Au sommet, il y a un hôtel et un restaurant d’excursion ainsi que quelques installations de loisirs.
Le téléphérique a été construit en 1951 comme route de desserte de l’hôtel et, d’une longueur de 725 m, surmonte un dénivelé de 230 m. En 1996, la piste a été entièrement renouvelée par la société Waagner Biro. Les six supports du téléphérique de l’ancien téléphérique ont été remplacés par trois nouveaux supports.
