La tour de télécommunication de Weilerskopf est une tour de type « FMT 2 » achevée en 1969, d'une hauteur de 130,7 mètres. Elle se situe dans la commune d'une enclave de la commune de Herxheim am Berg. Elle sert aujourd'hui uniquement pour la téléphonie mobile et les communications radio. Les émissions de radio n'avaient lieu ici qu'en mode DAB. C'était l'émetteur principal pour le bloc LB de la bande L de Ludwigshafen avec une ERP de 1 kW. Entre-temps, cet émetteur DAB a été arrêté.
