La centrale électrique d’Ering-Frauenstein est une centrale au fil de l’eau exploitée par l’Österreichisch-Bayerische Kraftwerke AG sur le bas de l’Inn. Ses installations sont situées sur le territoire des communes d’Ering et des Mines. La centrale électrique est située près de la côte bavaroise, tandis que les éléments mobiles du barrage sont situés près de la côte autrichienne. L’appareillage de commutation se trouve également du côté bavarois. Un sentier pédestre et une piste cyclable au-dessus du barrage relient Ering et Frauenstein.
