La forteresse de Dömitz est une forteresse située en Mecklembourg-Poméranie-Occidentale. Elle se trouve stratégiquement au bord de l'Elbe dans la ville de Dömitz.
Protégée par l'Elbe, une tour ronde a été construite à un endroit à l'abri des inondations au 13ème siècle. Peu de choses sont restées des bâtiments construits en pierres de champ et en briques. Les fondations d'une tour ronde ont été mises en évidence lors de fouilles dans la cour de la forteresse. Des vestiges du palais et d'une tour située à quelques mètres à l'ouest sont encore présents dans la partie inférieure du bâtiment du musée actuel.
