Le monticule de la forteresse près de Messenkamp est un petit château disparu de type motte castrale, situé près de Messenkamp dans le district de Schaumburg en Basse-Saxe. La date de construction de la fortification est estimée autour de l'an 1200.
Les vestiges de la petite enceinte se trouvent à environ 600 mètres au sud de Messenkamp, dans la plaine de la Rodenberger Aue, qui s'écoule à environ 100 mètres à l'ouest. Au nord, l'enceinte est délimitée par un cours d'eau canalisé. Le fossé entourant la colline est comblé, mais peut encore être discerné comme tel.
