L'église catholique Saint-Jacques le Majeur se trouve dans la commune d'Uder, dans le district d'Eichsfeld en Thuringe.
Ce lieu de culte a été construit en 1910 sur le site de deux bâtiments précédents datant des 12e et 17e siècles. Les registres paroissiaux indiquent que l'église originelle se tenait presque au même endroit. Au début du 17e siècle, l'état de la première église était si mauvais qu'en 1608 une reconstruction complète a eu lieu. Dans son style architectural, elle ressemblait à l'église actuelle. En 1720, le portail principal a été rénové et en 1752, un nouvel autel principal a été installé. En 1895, un nouvel orgue a été acquis.
