Le Treckfahrtstief est un canal construit entre 1798 et 1799 reliant Emden et Aurich en Ostfrise. Cette voie navigable a servi à mieux relier le centre administratif d'Aurich à la ville portuaire d'Emden, qui était le principal port de transbordement de la région. Des parties du Treckfahrtstief sont aujourd'hui intégrées dans le canal Ems-Jade, construit à la fin du 19ème siècle.
