La région de Weser et de Weser-Leine est une région de moyenne montagne atteignant jusqu'à 527,8 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer (NHN) dans le sud de la Basse-Saxe, dans le nord-est de la Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie et dans le nord de la Hesse. C'est une partie du seuil moyen montagneux allemand. L'Office fédéral de la protection de la nature l'enregistre sous le numéro courant D36 dans la liste des groupes d'unités de paysage principales de l'Allemagne.
