Rosenthal est un hameau du quartier de Birgelen, appartenant à Wassenberg, en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. À Rosenthal se trouve la petite colonie nommée Schaufenberg.
Rosenthal est bordé au nord-ouest par l'ancienne colonie Mercury près de Rothenbach, au nord par la gare qui appartient à Rosenthal, à l'est par Schaufenberg et l'ancienne mine de la houillère Sophia-Jacoba, Hückelhoven, à l'emplacement de laquelle se trouve aujourd'hui le dépôt de la ville de Wassenberg. Au sud se trouve le plus grand quartier de Birgelen.
