Lindwerder, également appelée Gatower Lindwerder, est une île située dans la partie des lacs de Havelseen qui appartient au district berlinois de Steglitz-Zehlendorf.
L'île ovale de Lindwerder, d'une superficie de 2,2 ha, est le reste d'une ancienne plaque morainique de la taille d'environ trois fois celle-ci. Elle se situe à environ 200 mètres de la rive est de la Havel, près de Grunewald, entre la baie de Lieper au nord et la petite Steinlanke au sud. Les noms Lipa et Lanke témoignent de l'ancienne colonisation slave du sud-ouest de Berlin. Le tilleul est encore aujourd'hui, avec 56 exemplaires, l'arbre le plus courant sur Lindwerder.
