Le village de Geisendorf, dans le Bas-Sorbe de Gižkojce, a été démoli en 2001. 41 habitants ont été réinstallés à Neupetershain. S’écartant des plans originaux, le domaine de Geisendorf, qui est un bâtiment classé, a été conservé.
Jusqu’à sa démolition en 2001, Geisendorf était situé en Basse-Lusace, au nord-est de Neupetershain. Il a été utilisé par la mine à ciel ouvert Welzow-Süd.
