Schwenningdorf est un quartier de la commune de Rödinghausen dans le nord-est du land allemand de la North Rhine-Westphalia. Jusqu'en 1968, Schwenningdorf était une municipalité indépendante dans le district de Rödinghausen. Le lieu a été mentionné pour la première fois en 1088.
Le quartier de Schwenningdorf est situé au nord de Rödinghausen, sur les pentes des montagnes Wiehen. La plus haute montagne est le Maschberg avec 190 m d'altitude. La plus profonde dépression est la vallée de la Große Aue à environ 80 m d'altitude. Schwenningdorf compte environ 2356 habitants et une superficie de 7,449 km². La vallée de l'Aue et ses vallées voisines, le Wehmerhorster Wiesental et la région de Schierenbeke, sont protégées en tant que zones naturelles.
