L'administration de Ruhland est une administration formée en 1992 dans le district d'Oberspreewald-Lausitz du Land de Brandebourg, où six communes du précédent district de Senftenberg s'étaient initialement regroupées en une association administrative. Une septième commune a été ajoutée peu après. Le siège de l'administration est la ville de Ruhland. Suite à l'intégration d'une commune, le nombre de communes appartenant à l'administration est à nouveau descendu à six.
L'administration se situe au sud du district d'Oberspreewald-Lausitz. Elle borde au nord la ville de Schwarzheide, à l'est la ville de Senftenberg, au sud l'État libre de Saxe, à l'ouest l'administration d'Ortrand et au nord-ouest, sur une courte distance, la ville de Lauchhammer.
