Louisenthal est un village et une ancienne commune allemande de Bavière, située dans l’arrondissement de Miesbach. Aujourd’hui, c’est là que se trouve une usine de production de Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology pour les papiers de sécurité pour les billets de banque.
L’histoire de Louisenthal commence en 1818 avec la fondation de l’atelier horloger de Jacob Deisenrieder. L’entreprise horlogère de Jacob Deisenrieder a été reprise en 1839 par le mécanicien Johann Mannhardt, né à Pürstling/Gmund, en collaboration avec le marchand Niggl de Tölz et les marchands Erich et Roeddorfer, ainsi que le mécanicien Drossbach.
