Bockraden désigne à la fois un quartier avec plusieurs hameaux d'Ibbenbüren dans la région de Tecklenburger Land et un ravin du massif de Schafberg près d'Ibbenbüren, généralement connu sous le nom de Graben de Bockraden. Le quartier compte 4 608 habitants.
Le quartier de Bockraden est délimité à l'ouest par le Dickenberg et à l'est par le Schafberg. Les deux sont à la fois des quartiers d'Ibbenbüren et des éléments du plateau de Schafberg. Au sud de Bockraden, le centre-ville d'Ibbenbüren se trouve au pied du Schafberg. Au nord, à Niederbockraden, commence le territoire de la commune de Mettingen avec son quartier de Schlickelde.
